Jerry Alan Roe

January 16, 1957 — July 6, 2015

Jerry Alan Roe, 58, Beloit , Kansas, passed on to be with his heavenly father on Monday morning, July 6th, 2015, at his home.

He was born January 16 th, 1957 in Belleville, KS to Lonnie and Elda Jean (Robbins) Roe. He was raised in Belleville and graduated from Belleville High Schoool in 1975. In 1980 Jerry took a job with the Southwestern Bell Telephone Company in Concordia, but transferred to their Beloit office in 1985 and worked for them until his retirement in 2010. When he wasn’t working hard Jerry enjoyed to work on cars and spent quite a bit of time deer hunting and ice fishing all around Kansas and Nebraska with his friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Elda Jean and his older sister, Kathy (Roe) Butler, both of whom he loved immensely.

Left to mourn and celebrate his passing are his wife Donna, of the home, oldest son Jerrod and wife Sarah Roe of Wichita, KS; youngest son Justin and wife Nicole, of Savannah, GA; stepchildren Jeremy and wife Sonya Sanborn, of Hutchinson KS; Jaime and Jeff Lewis, Beloit KS; Jordan and Jacob Farwell Beloit, KS: Father Lonnie and wife Betty Roe, Axtell, KS, Brother Kenny and wife Tammie Roe Herington, KS; mother-in-law; Loretta Hutchison, Beloit, KS; grand Children, Jacob, Adalyn, Jace and Joel Roe; stepgrandchildren Ella Sanaborn, Paxon Sanborn, Pressley Lewis; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 11, at Schoen Funeral Home and Monuments, Beloit, with interment to follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Beloit.
Visitation will be held from 1-6 p.m. Friday, July 10, at the funeral home.
Memorials to MCHHS Nursing Department and Solomon Valley Eagles Club.
