Loretta M Engelbert

Loretta M. Engelbert, 92, passed away peacefully May 27, 2020 at the Mitchell County Hospital.

Born April 1, 1928, Loretta was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Kate Engelbert, sister RoseMarie Childers, and brother Donnie Engelbert.  She is survived by cousins Sheryl Henry, Pam Griffeth, Barb Simmons, Jodi File, Pat Goddard, Roselyn Bowers, JR Simmons, and Hank Haneberg.   Private family service pending.

During her working years Loretta had a variety of jobs including secretary in St. Louis and then later in San Antonio, Tx.  In 2000 Loretta returned to Beloit to care for her brother.  She loved to join her classmates for lunches and visit with the many friends that stopped by to see her.

Loretta was described as having a heart of gold and a feisty bubbly personality.  The family wishes to thank Dr. Fugate and all the nurses at the hospital who provided such loving care during her last days.

We will greatly miss this gracious and truly “coolest” lady who loved to have her Bud Light every night.

A Private family burial will take place. Memorials may be made to Kansas Humane Society in care of Schoen Funeral Home and Monuments, 302 N. Hersey Ave. Beloit, KS 67420.
