Margaret Ann (Stover) Koenigsman, 83, Beloit, Ks., passed away January 1, 2018. Margaret was born September 15, 1934, to William and Cecilia Stover, in Beloit, Ks. She attended St. John's Catholic Schools and graduated in 1952. She also attended the Plum Creek country school during the years of World War II. In 1954, she married Ralph Koenigsman and enjoyed 47 years of marriage together until his death in 2002. She was a life-long member of St. John's Catholic Church and over the years participated in various church and school activities, served on the school board, was a member of the Ladies Guild and various prayer groups. She worked at the Mitchell County Hospital as a nursing assistant for 34 years.
She is preceded in death by her husband and a brother, James Stover. Survivors include her six children; Sharon and Dale Swope of Zenda, Ks., Linda and Mark Bromeier of Wildwood, Mo., Mary and Dimitri Siscos of Olathe, Ks., Rita and Don Rowlison of Beloit, Ks., Steven Koenigsman of Roeland Park, Ks., and Jane Koenigsman of Olathe, Ks.; 14 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; a brother, Bill and Twila Stover of Salina, Ks.; a sister, Louise Buser of Cawker City, Ks.; and a sister-in-law, Frances Stover of Andale, Ks.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 5, 2018, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Schoen Funeral Home and Monuments, Beloit, Ks. A rosary service will be held at 7:00 p.m. January 5, 2018 and mass of Christian burial at 10:30 a.m. January 6, 2018, both at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Beloit, Ks. Interment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery, Beloit, Ks. Memorials can be given to St. John's Memorial Trust Fund and Solomon Valley Hospice. Funeral arrangements are by Schoen Funeral Home and Monuments.
