Stephen Mark Kelly

Stephen Mark (Steve) Kelly, age 59, Independence MO, died Nov 30, 2017 at the Kansas City Hospice House; Kansas City, MO. He was born Nov 4, 1958 to Harold and Josephine (Bavuso) Kelly in Raytown, MO.

Steve’s family moved to Beloit, KS in 1960 where he attended grade school and high school graduating from Beloit High School in 1977. During his high school years he became aware of his love of carpentry. He utilized his knowledge and skills throughout his adult life working as a siding installer much of his career. Most recently Steve worked installing windows in the Kansas City area.  His hobbies included astronomy and telescopes with a lifelong interest in general science.

Steve is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Michael Kelly, and a sister, Deanna Adkins. He is survived by his son Eric (Angelica) Kelly and step-grandson Kevin White of Olathe, KS; brothers James (Tresa) Kelly of Beloit, KS and Robert Kelly of Salina, KS; sisters Patricia (Daniel) Monty of Nickerson, KS and Carla (David) Auldridge of Larkspur, CO. Graveside Services will be at St. Johns Catholic Cemetery in Beloit at 2:00 PM on December 6, 2017. Memorials may be made to the Stephen Kelly Memorial.
