Janet F. (Benyshek) Adam

Janet Faye (Benyshek) Adam was born December 8, 1936 to Ben J. and Laura Helen (Koukol) Benyshek at their home in Cuba Ks. She was the only child born to this union. Janet left this earth on Saturday, January 22, 2022. 

Janet attended Thomas Grade School and graduated from Agenda High School in 1954. She was United in marriage to Francis W. Adam on Oct. 20, 1962 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in St. Joe, KS. Six children were born to this union. Among these children were twin daughters. 

Her hobbies included gardening and cooking. She always enjoyed her flowers, especially her roses. She also loved spending time with her family. Her great grandchildren brought her great joy. 

Janet is survived by her children; two sons: Greg Adam and wife Molly of Clay Center, KS, Ritchie Adam and wife Susan of Glasco, KS; four daughters: Rebecca Brummer and husband Tyler of Randall, KS, Ranee Lyne and husband Dion of Clay Center, KS, Lori Adam and fiancé Don of Belleville, KS, and Robin Adam of Hanover, KS; nine grandchildren; Aaron  (Lynn) Adam, Corey (Candice) Adam, Devon (Chenell) Adam, Dina (Colby) Berry, Kristen  (Corey) Egger, Darius Lyne, Tristen, Logan, and Cadyn Brummer; eight great grandchildren; Aaralyn and Taven Adam, Araya and Melia Adam, Raelen and Coulson Adam, and Jane and Tessa Berry. 
She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Francis. 
Visitation will be from 5-7p.m. Tuesday, January 25th at the funeral home. Family will be present from 6-7p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 26th at St. John’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the St. Concordia Catholic Cemetery in Concordia. Memorials may be made to St. John’s Memorial Trust Fund.
